Synchronized Cruising In The French Alps Captured By Drone.

This reminds us of the coordinated swimming events we see in the Olympic Games, minus the gel in the hair.  Well, kind of. A group of skiers cruises down and around the slopes at Les 2 Alpes (aka L2A), an amazing resort which actually has a short summer season we reported on this August.  Click here to find out what our correspondent Val E. says about this second oldest in France that has some of the longest ski runs in the world.   And seniors over 72 ski free.  Yes!  If you are considering a ski trip—and who wouldn’t with the Euro so low—check out L2A.

  1. My friends can no longer snow ski, but I am still keen. Can you recommend a tour company for over 50 that ski France?
    Thank you

As mentioned in my email to you Deb, check the 70+ Ski Club. It hosts trips all over. Richard Lambert, the owner, will definitely have some ideas for you.

Join the Ski Club of Great Britain. When I retired, my wife was still working and couldn’t get away a often as I and my only other skiing buddy had become disabled. The Ski Club of GB offers trips for older (50+) skiers that were just wonderful. I drifted away from it when my wife retired; so we now usually spend a week in France (Trois Vallees) and a week in Italy (Sella Ronda). If you haven’t found anything satisfactory and want to know more, feel free to phone me at 781 237 0770.
