Correspondent Don Burch covered the recent Boston Ski & Snowboard Expo at the World Trade Center. It’s the last year the show will be held at this venue and it’s also the last year it will be produced by Bernie Weichsel and BEWI. Next year, SIA takes over.

Don, a retired School Psychologist, has been skiing since the early 1960s. Most of his skiing is in New York and New England. He has been a ski instructor at Lost Valley, King Pine and Sunday River. Each season he likes to ski at areas he's never been to. Don also make it a point to support local and independently owned ski areas by skiing them several time each season. Though skiing is Don's main passion he also enjoys kayaking, windsurfing, inline speed skating, trail running and cycling.

Thanks Don for the beautiful video of the Boston Ski Show. It has been the kickoff to the ski season for decades. Thanks to Bernie Weichsel, a wonderful friend of snow sports, who has energetically promoted skiing for so many years not only with his shows across the country and internationally, but way beyond them with many other programs. Thanks for showing us what love of snow sports is all about!
