Don Burch sent in a video treat: “December Skiing.” It’s one of his signature short productions that makes you want to be back on the mountain. Click on the image to screen. I’ll also include it in the next issue, which will be distributed Friday, January 7.

Many thanks to readers who sent notes of appreciation for SeniorsSkiing.com.

Best wishes for a Healthy, Happy 2022 with many great turns! Jon

  1. Don,
Looking forward to some midweek runs with you at Okemo. Give me a shout when you’re in town. Happy New Year!

  2. Ohhhhh this made my day! I lived in Jackson Hole, WY for 4 incredible years and skied every chance I got. Haven’t skied in 15 years (moved to Indiana), but I dream of one day feeling the powder beneath my feet again!
    Thanks for sharing!

  3. Love this! Me, I’m just waiting till all the Holiday visitors GO HOME to get back on our local mountain….and living in the Pacific Northwest, there is going to be plenty of snow left for us all!

    Happy trails!

  4. Nice video with music.

  5. Nice video! Now all we need is some cold weather (maybe some snow, even) in Vermont.

    Greetings from Australia

It’s summer here – bush fire season where I live as well.

I learned to ski in Switzerland as a 13 year old kid. Now 72. Of the three sons in my family I am the only one who is still enthusiastic.

Am off to the USA end of January 2022 to ski Washington State/Oregon with my daughter. Then do a week in Vail with the Ski Club , followed by a week in Utah with you folks. Will finish my season in March in Arizona at Snowbowl with a fellow senior skier.

Your video brought me a lot of joy.
