There goes another one. First, Vail scoops up Park City. Now we have Deer Valley, a top-shelf brand, picking up Solitude. Who’s next?

We wonder if bigger is better when it comes to ski area ownership. Remember conglomerate corporations from the 80s? We shall see, won’t we?
